"AMATISTA" Veracruz coffee provides a chocolatey, fruity, and citric aroma. Perfect for those coffee drinkers who prefer coffees with more acidity. It has, however, a strong flavor without bitterness.
For our “Amatista Veracruz” we selected only coffees called Altura (High) Coatepec, Altura Orizaba, and Altura Huatusco for their excellent reputation.
In Coatepec (in the Náhuatl language “Hill of the snakes”), you can still see that hill that gave it its name. Featuring this coffee-producing region, as being one of the finest coffees in the world.
Huatusco (In prehispanic language “the rabbit of the trees”) It is the main coffee-producing region of Veracruz and one of the most important nationally. The beauty of its landscapes and the richness of its soil make this region outstanding in the worldwide coffee culture. It is here where those amazing citric flavors begin predominating the red fruits but with a strong chocolate base
The "Amethyst" is a very special high vibration crystal typical of the State of Veracruz and just as the crystal, our “Amatista” Veracruz is noted for its purity, with a gentle soft body and pronounced acidity.
Veracruz state is located along the Gulf of Mexico and it is important to mention that this state produces at least one-half of the best coffees of Mexico and has been awarded with "Denomination of Origin" by the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property and published on the official federal broadsheet Diario Oficial de la Federación.
